LONG LASTING IMPREGNATION
Mosquito nets can ensure a peaceful night’s rest but only provide extra protection against mosquitoes when they are closed on all sides are made of durable polyester and their mesh is no courser than1.75 mm. With mesh is this fine however it can be muggy under the net in a damp tropical or subtropical climate.
For optimum protection and performance it is essential to impregnate a more open net giving extra protection as mosquitoes do not even get the chance to land on and bite through the net. The WHO (World Health Organization) also recommends Long Lasting impregnated mosquito nets for high-risk malaria areas (tropical Africa, Amazon region, parts of South East Asia).
Care Plus was the first to introduce Long Lasting impregnated (LLI) nets in 2003. By using this new
technology from Dawa Plus the impregnation remains effective 5 times longer than standard impregnated mosquito nets (2.5 years in daily use) and can be washed up to 20 times without losing their effectiveness. The solvents used in this process are friendly to the environment, safe for the workers and the user and do not need to be aired out before use
